July 13th Public Flower Show Workshop - help will be provided for those wishing to enter the August flower show - 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Have you ever wondered what it takes to win blue ribbons and the major awards at a flower show? Do you know the best way to condition plant material so that it lasts a long time? Do you wonder how the judges decide on the winners? The Alaska Judges Council will hold a workshop to give tips on how to do this and to answer any questions you may have. Both horticulture and design will be covered. Flower shows are an opportunity to display the plants you grow and a way to show creativity as well as educating ourselves and the public. The workshop is free, but advanced registration is required. Registration Form
