May 4  10:00 am  Second potting party for the plant sale. Will be held at Lee Skidmore's home. Bring your gloves and potting tools as well as a snack to share.  This is a fun event and a great way to get to know your fellow club members.  Even if you don't have plants to donate your help with the potting is appreciated.

May 9  10:00am Work day - setting up for the plant sale at Riekie Govaars' home. There is a lot to do so if you are able please help.  We will set up the tables, tarps and a tent, then move plants to the tables.  If you are storing sawhorses, plywood, boards, signs or tarps please bring these with you or arrange to get these to the Govaars'. We will need help shuffling plants too.

May 18   8:00am Second day of the Plant Sale 5210 Shoreline Drive. There are always new selections at the second sale so make sure you don't miss either. Thank you for your help in advance, without your support we would not have such successful projects such as the Blue Star Garden and our Scholarship program. Keep  up the Great work Gardeners!

Wednesdays at 5:00 pm is our scheduled time for work at the Blue Star Garden.  This will continue throughout the gardening season.  If you are able to join us please do.  If this time doesn't work with your schedule and there is another time you can stop by and pull a weed or two please feel free to do so.

September 13  Cruise ship arrives with 900 Master Gardeners aboard.

September 16  What is a Master Gardener?  Ketchikan Public Library

October 21  Putting your garden to bed, emptying and cleaning containers, storage and options on hat can be done to "overwinter" some plants.  Ketchikan Public Library

November 16  10:00am  Work session for ornament repair/replace for the Christmas Tree project.

November 29   4:00pm Decorate the Christmas Tree.

December 14  Construction Holiday Centerpieces for the homebound and Pioneer Home residents ( See 2012 video above.)

Deember 30  Dismantle the Christmas Tree.
