Wildflower Garden Club

Grant Program

Grant Information and Form

The goal of the Wildflower Garden Club (WfGC) Grants Program is to encourage botanical education by
funding scholarly studies, scientific research projects or work in the areas of Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, and Plant Pathology and/or allied subjects.

Total grant amount awarded per year is up to $2,000 and can be requested in its entirety or in part. The total amount to be awarded in a given year is determined by the WfGC Executive Committee. The smallest request considered will be $200. The number of awards will vary each year dependent upon the amount of money requested and the total amount to be awarded. For example, if the WfGC sets a maximum of $1,000 for the grant program and agrees to fund a single grant for $1,000, then only one grant will be awarded that year. If several smaller requests are received, the WfGC could fund more than one request. Applicants should indicate whether partial funding of their proposal would be helpful if full funding is not possible.
